Congratulations to Ryan Moore who completed his walk from Newbridge to Cong in aid of KARE and Alzheimers Ireland. A brilliant achievement!
Best of luck to Moorefield’s Ryan Moore as he walks from Newbridge to Cong for two great organisations- KARE and the Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland.
My name is Ryan Moore. I am currently overseas with the Irish defence forces in Undof. I arrive home on the 4th of October and I will commence a walk from Newbridge Co. Kildare to Cong Co Mayo on the 23rd of October to raise money for two particular organisations that are close to my own family. These organisations are Kare services which help adults with special needs and intellectual difficulties and the Alzheimer’s society of Ireland which offers help to families of which people have Alzheimer’s and also dementia. These organisations are close to my own family as my cousin Chloe Flynn has started the adult programme in Kare last week and also my grandfather passed away last year and suffered with dementia in the last few years of his life. The walk is 200km In distance and I will be doing the most part of it alone, with some family and friends joining me for the last stretch. I will also be pushing Chloe in her chair for the last stretch. I would be very grateful of any donations and they will make a huge difference to these organisations as every little helps. Thanks a lot for reading. Ryan.
