From the pictures I have seen, the clubhouse and grounds are looking fantastic and its great to know we now have 1st class facilities for all our members & players to enjoy for years to come!

PS – Will someone ever tell the senior lads to get their fingers out and get back on top!!!!

Best wishes for next weekend, sorry I won’t be able to be there. All the hard work of Moorefield men has paid off and the club position at the moment on the GAA map is a proud testament to their work for many many years. The club while being aimed at players young and old is also an outlet for many adults to enjoy and socialise. Some clubs socialise too much and this effects the pitch activity but when you get the blend correct, as Moorefield have done, the rewards and results are there to be harvested and enjoyed.

Wishing ye all many more years of success, keep up the great work, I’m always delighted when I mention Moorefield here in Wexford and plenty of GAA people recognise the name!!

Enjoy the celebrations over the weekend and then get back to the main job at hand, that is providing the best facilities for club members and the best of coaching to all players.

Thanks for the info – it was great to see the club looking so good and I am sure it will be a good day. Fortunately Demo posts most stuff on Facebook so I am able to see a lot of what goes on.

All is well here despite the bombing and manhunt. It’s a little crazy here these days.

I wish I was there for the opening. The Clubhouse looks great. Please do keep in touch

Thanks for the invite but, sadly, I’ll be in Vegas at the Mayweather fight.

Congrats on the new clubhouse – hopefully I’ll see it soon

On behalf of Kildare Ladies Football I want to congratulate the Moorefield club on the wonderful success in completing this transformation. It shows the great community spirit your club encourages. I want to wish you all the very best of success with the day and also especially I want to thank you for your support for the development of Ladies Football within the county.
Warm Regards,
Arthur Corrigan
Chairman Kildare Ladies Football

Thanks for the link I’m chuffed with the info, ye guys are doing a great job. The club is exceptional, second to none in my eyes, even if I’m biased! Great credit to all involved, it has come a long way in 30 years since we were breaking into senior players and changing in caravans. All the guys that have gave countless hours both on the playing fields and the many, many supporters and sponsors alike that gave so much of their valuable time to have the facilities that go with what only can be described as excellence. Our club is widely spoken about throughout football circles both near and far which is absolute testament to all the pride that exists in our hearts and belief that will go on forever. I for one am very proud; please pass on my regards to the chairman and all the top table along with supporters and volunteers who helped achieve these magnificent grounds and clubhouse.  Can you please forward me details of renewing my membership as I’m sure every dollar oops! euro will be valuable at this stage. I would like to wish all teams the very best of luck in this year’s championship. Let’s hope it will be a successful campaign. Sláinte, a chara.

Up the Moores.

Thank you kindly for the Moores update, very nice to see the club is making good progress and transforming its image on a grand scale. Things have sure developed well since the late-70s to mid-80s when I was playing regular football. Being away since then I have not really seen much of the club development but I have heard the news from time to time and being a former player and a true Moore it’s always good to see the club and lads doing well.

The upcoming event is a credit to the work and commitment of the committee, members and supporters, no doubt it will be a great success, I’m sure there will be many very proud people receiving well-merited praise throughout the celebrations. I would certainly love to be there, but alas I am overseas and will be for the foreseeable future.
