Tuesday 4th March at 8pm
Following a very successful year in 2013, Moorefield GAA Club is hosting a Club Forum on Tuesday 4 March as part of an overall review of their club structures.
The review will examine all aspects of club activity in order to build on its success and to identify where improvements can be made to ensure continued success in the future. This process will include an examination of coaching structures and participation in Gaelic games, including Ladies Football and Camogie, as well as administrative structures and club facilities.
The Forum is an opportunity for club members, as well as members of the Newbridge community, to have their say and present their ideas for improving the Moorefield club. The format of the Forum, while structured, is relatively informal and will comprise a series of workshops and discussion groups. The Forum will last approximately one hour.
The Moorefield Club invites as many members, past and present players, parents, and members of the Newbridge community to attend and share their opinions and ideas with the club. The club recognises that there is a wealth of experience and expertise within its membership and in the wider community: the Club Forum will provide the platform for people to become involved and contribute their talents for the benefit of players, especially the very young players, and the community in general.
All are welcome to come to the newly refurbished Moorefield clubhouse (half a mile past the stand at the Curragh Racecourse, just off the Rathangan road) on Tuesday 4 March at 8.00pm where you can have your say in your local club; it’s a real chance to be part of an exciting process in the future development of the county’s oldest GAA club.
