An Appreciation Night for Paddy Butler

Paddy has made a huge contribution to the Moorefield GAA club for many years. He has given a huge part of his life to developing young players in both the mens and ladies sections of the club. Just under a year ago, this great man was diagnosed with motor neurons, a condition that would have certainly knocked a lot of people back into accepting a quiet indoor life but not Paddy. He is still an active member and continues to be a massive part of our club.

As a mark of appreciation for all of his hard work we celebrated ‘Paddy’s Night’ on Saturday 15th November. A  huge thank you to Warren Kelly who organised the event with the ladies football team. Thanks to Pat Tinsley who took photographs on the night and who made a special presentation to Paddy.

Music on the night was by GRANITE, a favourite of Paddy’s.

A massive thank you to everyone who helped in any way and who came up on the night to celebrate with Paddy.
