Moorefield GAA and friends of Paddy Butler are currently organising a walk from Croke Park to the Moorefield GAA clubhouse as a fundraiser for IMNDA(Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association) on Saturday 26th September 2015..
IMNDA has been, and continues to be a massive support to Paddy and his family and we are now looking for you to support this fantastic organisation by joining us for this challenge..
The walk will be broken up into 6 stages of approximately 10 km and while anyone is welcome to walk the entire distance, there will be stop off points between stages and walkers can take rest periods on buses on the day.. Walkers can also join us at any of the stop off points( to be confirmed in the next few days)
This event is limited to over 18’s only but is suitable for all levels of fitness and is for a really great cause.. Paddy himself will also be taking part..
Registration for the walk is €20 and there will be sponsorship cards available to all walkers.
The final stage of the walk will be from the parish church in Newbridge to Moorefield Gaa. This stage will be open to all ages and we are hoping to get the community of Newbridge ,young and old, to get behind us for the final stage through the town.
