Congratulations to Niamh and the Kildare Under 14 team who are All Ireland Champions! Kildare 3-10 Kerry 2-9

We are proud to have our very own Niamh Mc Fadden representing Kildare this weekend in the Under 14 All Ireland Final. Thanks to Niamh who answered some questions about the Kildare team for us. The ladies take on Kerry in McDonagh Park, Nenagh on Saturday 2nd July at 3.15.

Who’s your best friend on the team? I love all the girls but I have known Ciara Price and Elaine Keogh the longest so I am very close with them.

Who is the tough nut of the team  Aoife Rattigan (Cappagh)

Who’s the quickest? Laoise Lenehan (Kill)

Who’s the Joker/Messer of the team? Sally Murphy (Kilcullen)

Who’s the most skilful? Orlaith Sullivan  (Carbury)

Who’s the best trainer? Maria Kelly (Ballymore)

Who’s the worst time keeper on the team? Gillian Wheeler  (St.Laurences)

Who’s the biggest whinger on the team? No one We are all very enthusiastic

Who’s the newest member to the team? Myself, Annalise Cullen (Two Mile House) and Ellie Fitzpatrick (Clane) as it is our first year with Kildare.

Funniest nickname on the team? No one in particular but we drew a face on a training ball and call him WILSON
