Very Sad to hear of the passing of our Team mate and Friend Anthony Frahill.
Anto was a super Moorefield player and had a great left foot with pin point accuracy . Many a back was left for dead by Antos jinky runs and skills in the forward line.
His best game I seen him play was the 1995 Jack Higgins cup Final in which he scored 5pts that earned himself the Man of The Match award he was class all day.

He also won a Senior B Championship 1995,
Leader Cup Medal in 1996 and 2 Under 21 Championships in 1997 and 1998.
Anto’s other love of sports was squash were he had the honour of wearing the other green jersey in representing his country…. He worked in Johnstown Garden centre before he moved to Baltinglass where he started his family and later worked in Quinns.

RIP Anto you will be sadly missed by all your friends in Moorefield and beyond.

Reposing at his residence Tinoran, Baltinglass, Co Wicklow. from 2pm to 9pm on Tuesday. House private thereafter please.
Removal on Wednesday by Halligans Funeral Directors to St Joseph’s Church, Baltinglass, arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass.
Burial afterwards in Baltinglass Cemetery.
