  • Interview with Ladies Captain, Shauna Doyle

    With the upcoming Ladies Intermediate Final taking place tomorrow, Saturday 2nd September, we talk to Shauna Doyle who will captain the team in Hawkfield. Throw in is at the earlier time of 2.30pm. The ladies team have already secured the Division 2 League title and will be playing Division 1 in the league next year. Last year, the ladies lost to Monasterevin in the Championship Final and they hope that their experience will get them over the line this year!     Thanks to our Senior Hurling Captain, Paul Dawson who completed our latest feature. The hurling team launch their championship campaign tonight against St. Columba at 7.30pm in Conneff Park, Clane. Best of luck to the team and management.

  • Captain’s Profile- Shane Delmer

    Shane Delmer is captaining the Patrician Primary School in the final of Cumman na mBunscol this Thursday against Dunlavin. He is helped along with other members of Moorefield Underage Camogie and Hurling on the team as well as other clubs. On the way to the final they played Gael Scoil Cill Dara and also Scoil Mhuire (Newbridge) who also contained Moorefield underage hurlers. Best of luck in the final.

    Our Under-16 Football team have qualified for the Division 1 League Final. Lee Kelly is captain of the team and has taken part in our latest teammates feature. Come out and support them on Friday 19th May at 8pm. Best of luck to Lee, the team and management.

    Thanks to Moorefield’s Tommy O’Neill, Scoil na Naomh Uilig captain, who participated in our latest feature. Tommy and his team are in the Under-10 Cumann na mBunscol Final at 3.20pm today.   • Captain’s Profile – Conn Kehoe

    Our latest profile is from Under 14 Hurling captain Conn Kehoe. Conn is joint captain of the team this year with Seán Maher.

    The Under 14 team have started their Féile campaign with a great win against St Columba. (St Columba 0-2 vs Moorefield 3-10) They hope to continue the winning form on the 3rd April against St Anne’s. Best of luck to Conn, the team & management in the rest of the Féile Championship!
