  • Captain’s Profile – Conn Kehoe

    Our latest profile is from Under 14 Hurling captain Conn Kehoe. Conn is joint captain of the team this year with Seán Maher.

    The Under 14 team have started their Féile campaign with a great win against St Columba. (St Columba 0-2 vs Moorefield 3-10) They hope to continue the winning form on the 3rd April against St Anne’s. Best of luck to Conn, the team & management in the rest of the Féile Championship!

    Alex joined Moorefield at the age of 3 and a half and has been playing football and hurling ever since. He is very proud to be captaining the Patricians team tomorrow.

  • Captains Profile – Colin Barrett

    Thanks to our Minor Captain Colin Barrett for taking part in our latest interview.
    Colin has played for Moorefield all the way through the underage ranks and has also represented the club at Under 21 and Senior B level. He has been rock solid in the Moorefield defence throughout the league and championship campaign this year and is a hugely committed and dedicated player who leads by example both on and off the pitch.
    We would like to wish Colin, the Minor team and management the very best of luck in this Sunday’s Minor Championship Final!

  • Captains Profile – John Finnegan 2015

    Thanks to our Hurling Captain John Finnegan for taking part in our latest interview.
    John, a native of Dublin played for Dublin Senior Hurling team and won a National League title with them. We are delighted to have someone of John’s county experience playing with our hurlers, he is a huge addition to the team with great leadership qualities on and off the pitch. We would like to wish John, the hurling team and management the best of luck in the Intermediate Hurling Final this Sunday 27th September.
