Féile Hurling 2017

Well done to our Under-14 team and management who participated in the Féile na Gael 2017. They were unlucky to be beaten in the Shield Semi-Final by just one point but had a great experience and the improvement in all the players was evident. A massive thanks to all of the parents and supporters who travelled down. Your help and support was really appreciated. A big thank you to our sponsors Pabo Caffrey, Dominic Kavanagh, Mick Keogh and Murphy International. St Mogues GAA in Fethard were amazing hosts. A special mention to Jim Byrne who couldn’t do enough for  the team. Jim’s dad, Hugh, has a football and hurling championship medal for Moorefield ’62 and ’63. Congratulations to our host club, St Mogues, Fethard On Sea on winning the Division 5 Cup. Continue reading

Meet the Under 11 Boys Football Team

The Under 11 Management this year was Andy Sherlock, Bobby Foran and Oliver O’Kelly. For us it was a great year, the lads are a great group to work with and we were delighted with the progression of the boys throughout the year. The highlight of the year was the trip to the beach to play the final round of our internal league. It’s worth checking out the pictures. If these lads don’t make senior footballers, there’s definitely some Olympic swimmers amongst them. Continue reading
