Kildare Sports Partnership are holding a Safeguarding 1 Child Welfare
& Protection Basic Awareness Workshop on Monday 23rd of October in the
KARE Offices Newbridge (Enter Ind Estate at Newbridge Silverware). The
course is €25 and will run from 7 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. and you can book
your place and pay online on the following link


A Camogie Foundation Course will take place at Ardclough GAA club on Saturday 14thOctober, from 9.30am to 4.45pm (registration at 9.15am). This is an excellent course that equips the new coach at imparting the basic and key skills of the game to young girls and is ideal for new Go Games mentors or for anyone introducing the basic skills to primary school-aged players. This course is also fully recognised by the GAA as equivalent to the GAA hurling foundation course.

First Whistle Camogie Referee Course Venue : Ardclough Gaa ( upstairs in clubhouse hall )Date : Tuesday 16th May 2017Time : 7.30pm ( duration 2.5 hrs ) please arrive 10 mins earlier to registerCost : €10 per personGirls should be at least 15 years of age. On completion of this course the girls will be eligible to referee at Go Games blitzes & spring/autumn league games for u7, 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s & 12s.15 to 16 year olds should stick to the u7s and u8s blitzes17-18 year olds then with u9s up to U12s.Can all interested please contact our club secretary @ moorefieldcamogie@gmail.com by Friday evening 12th


We are looking forward to hosting the Kildare Camogie Foundation Course on Saturday 4th March. Registration will be at 9.15am with the course starting promptly at 9.30pm until 5pm). 
All participants should bring a notebook and pen and a hurley. Dress will be tracksuit and runners. There will be tea/coffee available but please bring a packed lunch for lunchtime.


A full Camogie Referees course for Kildare and Meath participants will take place on Saturday 18th February from 9.30am to 5.30pm at Blackhall Gaels clubhouse, Batterstown Co.Meath. Participants must be 18 years old or older. This course qualifies a referee to referee at all levels of camogie, up to and including senior camogie.


Interested names for this course should be forwarded to brendan.kenny@camogie.ie by Thursday 9th February.

The GAA is running a Hurling Foundation level course on Sat, 28 Jan, in Hawkfield from 9am to appx 5pm. This course is recognised by the Camogie Association also.
And on Sat, 4 Mar, Camogie will run a Foundation Course at Moorefield from 9.30am to 5.30pm. This is more aimed towards girls and camogie specific.
Both courses are recognised by the GAA.  All coaches/mentors working with children must have completed a Foundation Course or should attend one of these.
