  • Meet the Under 9 Boys Team

This panel of players played in the Under 10 South Board league as a 3rd team from Moorefield.
At the end of the Under 10 League there was a Blitz Day in Hawkfield where Moorefield played Ballymore and ran out winners.
Later in the year they also played in the South Board Under 9 League.
A big thank you to the mentors Mick Meehan, Gerry Moran, Stephen McDonald and Owen Morrisey for their hard work throughout the year.

  • Meet the Under 11 Boys Football Team

The Under 11 Management this year was Andy Sherlock, Bobby Foran and Oliver O’Kelly. For us it was a great year, the lads are a great group to work with and we were delighted with the progression of the boys throughout the year. The highlight of the year was the trip to the beach to play the final round of our internal league. It’s worth checking out the pictures. If these lads don’t make senior footballers, there’s definitely some Olympic swimmers amongst them.

  • Meet the Under 9 Girls Football Team

This U9 team are a great bunch of footballers. They played in two blitzes this October and won all three matches at both. Even though these girls are very young they have great ability and they will definitely entertain us in the future, watch out! Their mentors are Catherine Conaty, Éadaoin Cummins, Aileen O’Brien and John Cassidy. The parents are great supporters of this team so a big shout out to them also.
Next week meet the Boys Under 11 team…..
